Coaches have said that I'm,
Coachable & a team player
A defensive specialist with quick hands
Great at stealing balls, aggressive & intense with low number of fowls per game
Great at communicating with my teammates on the court
Most of all, I'm competitive and I like to have fun with my team.
Last year my coach nicknamed me, "The Bandit" for stealing so many balls.
My teammate's Dad said, "You have the heart of a lion!"
Heady, quick, hard playing guard with a multi-dimensional offensive game that we feel could make an impact at the next level. Your first step is enough to elude defenders off the bounce and you were able to keep players off balance with your ability to shoot the ball with good range past 3. We liked your pace with the ball as well being able to push in transition to get early offense for your team. Knowing when to push the ball and when to slow down is a large part of the game and you seem to possess this understanding which speaks to your IQ and how well you have been coached.

I've watched Reuben from the bleachers from his first days of junior high basketball. The following are my observations.
Reuben's athleticism and high energy are on sustained display. He does not take a second off when he's on the court. He hunts the ball like a wolverine and retrieves it regularly, including in seemingly improbable situations; his anticipation and quick hands are remarkable.
Over the years, I've seen his overpowering defensive game steadily balance out with a strong offensive skill set. His ball handling, quickness and fearlessness make him a dangerous threat on the drive. His vision is excellent and he distributes the ball generously when the pass is the better option. Team first, always, for Reuben.
He knows what comes with playing a physical game and stays focused. Particularly for one who plays so aggressively, he has great emotional control and composure. Reuben has a fantastic demeanour and lets his play do the talking.
It's been a treat to watch Reuben develop and compete all these years. It seems to me that his basketball runway is considerable and that he has the determination and ability to continue to grow in the game.
All the best, Reuben!
